As his family cut and hauled truck-load after truck-load of wood to heat their drafty 200 year-old farmhouse, Andrew developed a deep appreciation for the role of energy in our daily lives at an early age.  He's taken that appreciation to pursue the mission of providing leadership in both deploying renewables and innovating on progressive, impactful energy policy.

Andrew serves on the Board of Directors of the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), the 1,000+ business trade association of the national solar industry and as the vice chair of SEIA's Distributed Generation Division. He is also a member of the board of CarShare Vermont, the board of the United Way of Chittenden County, and formerly served on the Burlington Conservation Board. He co-chaired Burlington Mayor-elect Miro Weinberger's transition team.

Andrew received his bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in environmental studies from Middlebury College where he graduated summa cum laude and Phi Betta Kappa.  He has also attended an executive education program at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.  When not working, Andrew can be found running, biking, and skiing, or otherwise embarking on some home or furniture project he is only partially qualified to do.  He is a native of Calais, Vermont and lives in Burlington with his wife Morgan and daughter.
