Jeff Chapman

Field Technician

Jeff first learned about wind energy while attending grammar school when an old wind-powered gristmill in his home town of Fairfield, Connecticut was renovated. The blades of the windmill were never installed, but Jeff’s interest in wind energy was ignited by the project.

With more than two decades in the commercial and residential building trades, Jeff brings seasoned design and building experience to AllEarth Renewables. Along the way, he has become a great communicator and often finds creative solutions to various unforeseen problems.

During the winter months, Jeff can be found backcountry skiing (and stoking his woodstove). In the summer, Jeff enjoys hiking, mountain biking and sailing on Lake Champlain. His wife, Julia Austin, has been with AllEarth Renewables' sister company, NRG Systems, for more than 15 years.
