Tarakanita Boestan

Accounting Associate

If there was an award for the person who traveled the farthest to be on the AER team, Tarakanita would win.  Born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia, she began her accounting career at Bank Bali as a customer representative and quickly earned a promotion to Marketing Specialist. Relocation to California found her enrolled at Cal State Fullerton, where she earned a BA in Accounting. 

While studying for her BA, she volunteered with VITA/TCE to help low-income families and individuals complete their tax returns.  Upon graduation, she began working with a compensation consulting firm until she moved to Vermont to be closer to family.  Once here, she began working for April Cornell as a staff accountant.

At AER, Tara is responsible for Accounts Payable on a daily basis and assists the Accounting Manager with a variety of financial tasks.  When she is not crunching numbers at work, Tara enjoys cross-country skiing, hiking, biking, traveling and cooking.
