Two proprietary technologies provide the Earth Turbine 2500 with enhanced efficiency and low maintenance:
• Our patented generator is a direct drive induction machine with no inverter or gearbox. This innovative design was chosen for its durability and relative simplicity.
• The Earth Turbine 2500 is mounted on a 112’ guyed tilt-up tower, facilitating easy installation and placing the turbine at optimum elevation to utilize the optimum power of the wind.
The combination of the proprietary generator and the tall tower installation makes the Earth Turbine 2500 a complete and reliable small scale wind energy system.
