The AllSun Tracker has been selected for the Claire Solar Partners project, a 2.2MW solar farm to be constructed under Vermont’s Sustainably Priced Energy Enterprise Development (SPEED) standard-offer program.
The Claire Solar Farm in South Burlington, VT will consist of 366 AllSun Trackers manufactured by the Vermont-based AllEarth Renewables. The project, which is being developed by VESCO Energy, will produce over 3 million kilowatt hours of energy a year.
The ground-mounted, fully pre-engineered solar trackers are designed for residential and commercial-scale installations.
AllEarth Renewables is a 2012 Inc. 500 business for fastest growing companies nation-wide and has installed over 1,700 complete grid-connected solar tracker systems. The dual axis tracker was named a “Top-10 Green Product” by BuildingGreen Magazine.
The Claire project received its Certificate of Public Good November 18 and construction will begin later this year.
