Thank You, Sun, From a Vermont Friend

Ever bothered by thinking about all that you’ve forgotten over the years, and of course don’t remember that you’ve forgotten? Me, too. But one thing that has always stayed with me is that the sun is on average about 93 million miles from the earth. Many days when I look up at our solar wonder from my Vermont back yard, the number pops in my head just as it did in 4th grade, and I feel the same awe and wonderment about that beautiful object in the sky. And when that beautiful object can sustain not only life itself, but offer us renewable energy through solar projects here in Vermont and elsewhere, who are we to say no?
