There’s so much in the world that I don’t understand. One of those things is when people use “activist” as a derogatory term. would any of us really want to be known as an “inactivist”?
At AllEarth Renewables, we are proud to be activists when it comes to renewable energy in general and to Vermont solar advocacy in particular. We are not—and don’t pretend to be— a big company, but we are a company willing and able to fight the hard fights that have to take place in the regulatory and legislative arenas.
As we’ve said before, this is not always exciting stuff (as we explained in this earlier post), and it takes a lot of time and a lot of work. But it has to be done, for our children and our planet.
Those who say that Vermont is too small to make a difference miss the point; our small size and environmental values make Vermont a great place to show the environmental and economic benefits of a strong renewable energy presence. Sorry, naysayers, but activism is contagious, and AllEarth Renewables is determined to see that solar activism spreads far and wide. Please join us!
